Wycoller & Wycoller Country Park
An historic village that dates back to the Iron Age and a country park with a number of set walks. The village is on the “Bronte Trail” and the ruins of Wycoller Hall are reputed to be the Ferndean Manor of Charlotte Bronte’s Jane Ayre. Many of the old buildings have been preserved and the exclusion of cars gives the village a rural tranquillity that is rare today.
